a.) Open the following webpage on your tablets:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/

Search for one everyday word in the dictionary. Read the definition and the examples.

b.) Let's discuss: In what sense is this dictionary different from others?

2.
a.) Think of an everyday word. Write a definition and an example sentence, which are similar to the ones you have found in the Urban Dictionary. You can work individually or in pairs.

b.) Read out your definition and example sentence to the group. The group has to guess the word.

3.
a.) Look at the opening screen of Urban Dictionary. Read the latest dictionary entries on the first page. Write a story using all these words in pairs.

b.) Read out your stories to the group.

4.
a.) Create similarly fresh, up-to-date words/expressions to the ones you have read in the previous point. Define them and write example sentences.

b.) Present your best new words/expressions to the group.
